Description
The Maha Kumbh Mela is one of the largest and most significant religious gatherings in the world, held once every twelve years at four sacred locations in India: Allahabad (Prayagraj), Haridwar, Ujjain, and Nashik. It is a massive spiritual congregation of millions of Hindus, where devoteess come together to take a ritualistic dip in the holy rivers—most notably the Ganges—believing that it purifies them of sins and grants them salvation (moksha). The Kumbh Mela holds a deep spiritual and cultural significance, and its roots trace back to ancient Hindu mythology.
