Savitha Raja was born and raised in the quiet town of Vasai Road in Palghar, Maharashtra, where she completed her schooling and higher education. An educator by profession with over fifteen years of teaching experience, she believes that learning is a lifelong journey and that every individual has a story worth sharing.
Though she doesn’t quite think of herself as a writer, Savitha simply sees herself as someone with a few stories to tell—stories drawn from everyday life, human emotions, and the quiet beauty found in ordinary moments.
Her world extends far beyond the classroom. She is IICA certified independent director, a trained Bharatanatyam dancer, she is also an avid badminton player, an artist drawn to Madhubani, Warli, and Mandala art, an enthusiastic home cook, and an aspiring entrepreneur in the creative and culinary space. She loves losing herself in a good book, and finds joy in capturing life’s fleeting moments through photography—a passion inherited from her late father. For Savitha, creativity finds expression in many forms.
Alongside her academic research and educational publications, she has also authored wellness journals and creative books, each reflecting her desire to inspire mindfulness, growth, and self-expression in others.
She currently lives in Kochi, Kerala, with her family, where she continues to teach, learn, create, and tell stories she hopes will stay with readers long after they turn the last page.
