Prof. Rushikesh Shantaram Bhalerao

Prof. Rushikesh Shantaram Bhalerao is an Assistant Professor at Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Nashik, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from APJ Abdul Kalam University, Indore. He holds a B.E. in Information Technology and an M.E. in Computer Engineering. He also serves as the Training and Placement Officer (TPO), actively supporting student career development and industry collaborations.

His research interests include IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies. He has authored three books, published seven patents, and contributed over 55 research papers in national and international journals. He received the Adarsh Shikshak Puraskar 2025 and the Top Placement Performer Award for his outstanding contributions to education and student placements.
