Dr. Raakib Rasool Janbaz

Dr. Raakib Rasool Janbaz holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) and a Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) in Animal Genetics & Breeding from SKUAST-Kashmir. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Animal Genetics & Breeding at Sri Ganganagar Veterinary College, Tantia University, Rajasthan, his research focuses on genetic evaluation, genomic selection, and climate-resilient breeding strategies for livestock. With multiple peer-reviewed publications, he brings a practical and applied perspective to the field, integrating advanced molecular techniques with hands-on breeding management. As an editor, he ensures scientific rigor and contemporary relevance in the presentation of modern animal breeding science.
