Dr. R. Jayalekshmi

Dr. R. Jayalekshmi, BAMS, MS (Ayu), Professor of Prasuti Tantra and Stri Roga with 16 years of teaching experience in Ayurveda. She is currently working as PG Dean and Professor at Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre, where she is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical training, and academic mentoring.

She completed her BAMS from Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda Medical College under Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Maha Vidyalaya and her M.S from Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College under Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and is presently pursuing her PhD at Datta Meghe Institute of Health Sciences. She has guided postgraduate students and published several research articles in reputed national and international journals.

Her academic and clinical interests include Female infertility, Antenatal and Postnatal care, Garbhasanskara, Dietetics, Lifestyle modification, and Integrative approaches to Women’s health, with a strong focus on blending classical Ayurvedic principles with contemporary clinical practice.
