Dr. Pooja Yadav

Dr. Pooja Yadav, Ph.D. (Agrometeorology) with ASRB-ICAR-NET. She is holding a Ph.D. (Ag.) in Agrometeorology from G.B.P.U.A.T. Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. She obtained her M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Meteorology and B.Sc. in Agriculture from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana. During her Ph.D. program, she was awarded with ICAR-Senior Research Fellowship.

She is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Agrometeorology, Faculty of Agriculture, Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo. Bathinda.With a strong command over Agrometeorology and a solid academic foundation, she has extensive expertise in integrating meteorological principles and remote sensing with agricultural systems to address climate-related challenges in crop production.

Her participation in specialized workshops, conferences, publication of numerous book chapters and research papers highlight her dedication to promoting sustainable practices and scientific innovation in agriculture.
