Dr. D. Vinoth Kumar

Dr. D. Vinoth Kumar, M.Com., M.Phil., MBA, PGDCA, D.Litt., Ph.D., is working as an Assistant Professor of Commerce at Bishop Heber College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli – 620017, Tamil Nadu, South India. He has more than 17 years of teaching experience and completed his higher studies at St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli. He obtained his Ph.D. in the area of Women Empowerment in Unorganized Sectors. He was honored with a D.Litt. (Doctor of Letters) award from the International Economic University, SAARC Countries. He also worked as Faculty of Management at BFiT School of Management, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, North India.

He has received multiple awards, including Best Organizer, Best Paper Presentation Award, Best Volunteer Award, Best Social Achiever Award, Best Young Researcher Award, Best Leader Award, and was recognized as a National Top Rank holder at TCPS Info Tech India (P) Ltd, Salem. He has published more than 30 research articles in reputed journals and authored six books on academic and social relevance. He previously served as an NSS Programme Officer and is currently a member of the editorial board and a reviewer for various reputed national journals. He is also a Board of Studies member in various autonomous colleges. He has Participate Young Science Conclave at India International Science Festival 2025 (IIFS) at Hariyana.

Additionally, he serves as an Advisory Member of the All India Council for Technical Skill Development (AICTSD), Government of India (MSME), and as an Academic Counselor for Online Programmes at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He has received funded projects from ICSSR – New Delhi, ICSSR-South Regional Center- Hyderabad, AICTE, ATAL-FDP New Delhi, the Malcolm and Elizabeth Adiseshiah Trust, and Bishop Heber College Management. Furthermore, he has organized national-level seminars and workshops.
